Fine Art Photography from Steve Gandy

Photographing natural scenes has been always been my vocation. I've had many teachers and have made imaging my lifelong pursuit. I strive to capture the essence and mood of a scene rather than the strict tonal "reality".  However, since I often photograph into the sun, into deep shadow, or in ultra high key scenes sometimes the final art is quite real. I think of myself as an interpretative nature photographer and image maker.
